Kyle Valorose, composer

Hailing from Richmond Virginia, Kyle Valorose (2003) is a composer-pianist in his fourth year of study at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He studies composition under Dr. Robert Livingston Aldridge and hopes to apply for graduate programs in the fall. An alumnus of the Brevard Music Center and the Boston University Tanglewood Music Institute, Kyle has over a decade of experience as a pianist, former violist, and music educator. With his music, Kyle hopes to integrate the kaleidoscope of his musical influences, (jazz and blues, hip-hop, western art music, American and English folk music, Indian Carnatic music, etc.), while creating a space for the listener to inhabit. He intends to graduate from Rutgers in the Spring of 2025 and study composition as a graduate student.
