Ever innovative and improvisatory, CMSCVA adds an additional concert to its spring 2024 calendar and ushers in the spring with the fabulous, soul-searching, thought-provoking music of J. S. Bach.
Carsten Schmidt returns to the beautiful space of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church to play a recital of Bach’s fugues and suites. The program will be played on a reproduction of an early-18th century harpsichord made by Michael Mietke, an instrument on which Bach would have composed his famous Brandenburg concertos.
